GOODWOOD FOS DRIFTKHANA
NEW TO GOODWOOD FESTIVAL OF SPEED IN 2019 WAS THE DRIFTKHANA COMPETITION, WHICH YEAR ON YEAR SEES WORLD CLASS DRIFT DRIVERS COMPETE AT ONE OF THE MOST PRESTIGIOUS MOTORING EVENTS IN THE CALENDAR.
D3 were approached to build the equipment and technology as well as staffing the competition on the live days. A series of obstacles around the course with flashing lights and proximity sensors gives the drivers a series of targets to try to drift as close to as possible, competing against the clock for points and the all-important style bonuses for the best drives. The result is a thrilling spectacle of drift driving and showmanship at its best, with an occasional hint of carnage and destruction. We work closely with the site race officials and external media teams for the live television broadcasts of this now annual attraction at the show.
